Blogging Tips For Bloggers

Tired of not getting readers to your blog? Fear not. Here are some tips that can save you literally.

Adding a video that links to your blog

Do you know that adding backlinks increase your standing in the search engines?
Many people have lament that video sharing websites (e.g. youtube) use a nofollow link. In other words, no 'vote' is cast for your blog. However, smart people do realise that a single youtube video link is worth a never-ending stream of passive traffic. Traffic will stream into your blog for years to come after you have posted your URL. In the long run, producing videos and submitting it to video sharing sites such as veoh.com , LiveVideo.com will benefit the blog owner in the long haul.

Promoting Your Blog in Contests

Naturally, doing this will cost a little bit of credit. Offer a little freebie or some cash in exchange for a few links to your blog or blogpost. The number of backlinks you receive will then be proportional to the number of contestants. Imagine a hundred backlinks just a mere 5 to 10 dollars. It is simply worth it! This definitely beats manual submission or outsourcing of directory submission.

Try visiting Success For Your Blog to see how contests should be organised. In additional, feel free to query how they have become successful.
